On Friday, Feb. 8th GJA YouthBuild students and officers from Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 participated in a youth engagement session to learn about each other. Students met the officers and learned about their duties and responsibilities, while the Zone 5 Police Officers also learned about our youth, program staff and the services that GJA provides. This venue provides both with the opportunity to engage with each other through breakout sessions and to meet individually in one-on-one sessions. We thank Zone 5 for its participation with our youth. This is an ongoing collaboration with our organization. A short video is attached.
