Marcia joined Garfield Jubilee in November 2013. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, she has worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Juvenile Court System of Allegheny County for 20 years, worked as an Administrative Assistant and Credentialing Analyst for Community Care Behavioral Health for six years, and has also worked in the Pittsburgh Public School System for eight years certified in Elementary Education teaching 1st and 2nd grades. Marcia has a Masters’ Degree in Elementary Education from Chatham College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.
As the Executive Assistant at Garfield Jubilee, she is responsible for the data entry of information as it relates to various grants, she assists with minutes for general staff meetings and on- and- off site conference call meetings, maintains accuracy of data files and follow-up information, maintains the status of clearances for staff and students to make sure that the agency is current and in compliance at all times regarding clearances, and assist the Executive Director to provide overall office management.
