[Back to Top of Page]	New Housing in Garfield [Back to Top of Page] A Vision of a New Garfield Garfield Jubilee Association, Inc. celebrates the success for the residents and community leaders in having a new vision for housing development in Garfield. GJA and the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation were the lead agencies to assist Garfield residents in the development of the Comprehensive Housing Strategy. As a result, the first of 50 homes will be built to enhance the front-door entrances of Garfield on the following streets: Kincaid, Broad, N. Millvale, N. Winebiddle, Dearborn, N. Evaline and N. Several families from our Family savings Account Program purchased homes from GJA. Garfield Jubilee’s Housing Department has extensive experience with PHFA guidelines and HUD regulations as well. Two GJA-owned properties on Black Street were featured on the nationally televised Bob Villa’s in September of 1999.
